Fire Preparedness Workshop

Holbrook Landcare Network, along with Rural Fire Service & Biodiversity Conservation Trust are hosting a free Fire Preparedness Workshop (funded by the Bushfire Recovery Program).

During this important and informative workshop you will:

• Gain the confidence and skills to map strategic areas on your property
• Learn about important species for conservation
• Understand fire & landscapes
• Be prepared for fire:
  • assess the risk
  • know what you can do
  • learn hazard reduction methods
  • understand compliance & approvals
• Plan a practical effect for fire management

A walk though Murrays Crossing Cultural Area is planned for the day and a possible Cool / Cultural Burn (weather & time-permitting)

Morning/Afternoon Tea, Lunch and Tea & Coffee will be provided by Holbrook Landcare Network on the day.
