Bookham Pasture Trial Site & Introductory Carbon Workshop

We know everyone is sick of hearing about carbon, but it’s highly likely that from next year, Industry will be expecting you to have a carbon account.

Most of us aren’t ready for it and are confused by the whole thing.
This workshop aims to take the confusion and fear out of this topic by bringing it back to the basics of what you need to know and, importantly, helping you feel ready. 

By the end of this workshop you will:

• Understand what carbon farming is
• understand how you as a producer can influence your carbon footprint
• Be aware of how carbon accounting works
• Know what options there are for participating in the carbon market/or not
• have calculated a carbon account for your farm

Please bring: stock numbers any livestock weight gain data a laptop if you have one
