This workshop follows on from the acid soils discussion held in August 2019. RSVP to the HLN office – 6036 3181 or [email protected]
Acid soils is an ongoing constraint for both graziers and croppers so is lime the best option to address this issue? How low should pH’s level get before we implement active management strategies? Are current liming practices addressing acid soil constraints below 5-10cm? How can we better manage our soil inputs to give us the best return on investment?
Dr Jason Condon & Helen Burns, NSW DPI will be on hand to discuss topics generated from the first workshop including optimal pH levels & strategies on how to address acid soil constraints at depth
Facilitated by Ashley Paech, a local mixed farmer who can help turn research outcomes into practical management strategies
Time
(Thursday) 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
