DESCRIPTION:Holbrook Landcare Network, along with Rural Fire Service & Biodiversity Conservation Trust are hosting a free Fire Preparedness Workshop (funded by the Bushfire Recovery Program).\nDuring this important and informative workshop you will:\n\nGain the confidence and skills to map strategic areas on your property\nLearn about important species for conservation\nUnderstand fire & landscapes\nBe prepared for fire:\n\nassess the risk\nknow what you can do\nlearn hazard reduction methods\nunderstand compliance & approvals\n\n\nPlan a practical effect for fire management\n\nA walk though Murrays Crossing Cultural Area is planned for the day and a possible Cool / Cultural Burn (weather & time-permitting)\nMorning/Afternoon Tea, Lunch and Tea & Coffee will be provided by Holbrook Landcare Network on the day.\n
